In Conil, mix the beauty of the mountain white villages, with the charm of the fishing villages.
History
Picadero Pacheco is a family owned horse riding and accomodation centre. We have been taking out rides along the clifftops of Conil for over 15 years. We have clients who come back to us year after year as they spend their holidays in Conil. Paco has been riding since he was 9 years old, breaking in wild Spanish horses, riding in the Spanish ferias and fighting bulls. He still runs the show some 50 years later but now has Madeline, a new Zealand girl meeting with clients and taking out the rides. She has more than 10 years experience riding and teaching and will teach you the basics as you ride out into the sunset.
A memory from Paco
A “Cabalgata” is a procession on horseback and at this time of the year it usually refers to “La Cabalgata de los Reyes Magos” which is the procession commemorating the Three Magi during the Epiphany when they came bearing gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh for the Baby Jesus. It is just one route that lasts a week. Paco was involved during the years 1980 to year 1984, " I went to the Alcarde de Carreta of the Hemandar of Cadiz. It is the same as riding for 7 days on the route with Picadero Pacheco. The route left from Cadiz to El Rocio. We cross the Guadaquivi river. After riding across the entire boundary of Dona Ana to the Huelva province. The route is about 60km.
